Learn, grow, and win a chance at $100,000 in technology. The Small Business Technology Institute – a non-profit institution — will be issuing a grant in information technology hardware, software and services for the total value of $100,000 dollars for US businesses with 100 employees or less.
The grant is structured in the form of a contest and the application deadline is September 6th, 2005.
Here’s some of the scoop. If your business has fewer than 100 employees and revenue of less than $50,000,000 in 2004, then it can qualify to enter. The Contest is divided into four phases (Vision Phase, Business Case Phase, Proposal Phase, and Presentation Phase) in which certain Qualified Businesses advance from one phase to another, until selection by the judges of the grand prize winning Qualified Business.
To begin you’ll describe your vision of how $100,000 in technology could improve the way you do business and explain how you would use the funds. If selected, you will advance to the next phase and get the chance to build your business case and continue competing for the grand prize.
