Everywhere we go these days there are signs posted about cell phone usage. One of my favorites is at the post office. The sign yells “no cell phone calls during transaction.”
So I found it really interesting the other day when the postal clerk picked up her cell phone and called home while she was in the middle of my business transaction. And she was still on the phone when the next customer stepped up to the counter.
Don’t those signs apply to her? Is this one of those do as I say, not as I do? Seems that way.
This could be happening in your business too. Make sure the message you are sending to your customers matches what you are doing. There is no alternative to regular postal mail, so I’m stuck. But your customers can always go elsewhere.
