I was having breakfast yesterday with a guy who does some sales for me. He’s my dad’s age and, like my dad, has acquired lot of wisdom over the years. So, I always enjoy meeting with him and I usually learn something.
This particular morning we were talking about nursing homes as a last stop before we pass on. (Not exactly a chipper topic, but that’s life I guess.) As we talked he said something that got my attention because it’s a good thing to keep in mind as we make our way through each day.
He said he didn’t know much about what happens after we die but what’s important is what we do while we’re here.
A lot of people have said this in many ways over the years. Maybe it’s more powerful coming from someone who has seen a lot of friends and family members pass on. Especially when you have a lot of respect for that person.
Anyway, it’s message I found useful so I thought you might too. Make it a fulfilling day!
