I’d like to take this first post to discuss a bit about what I hope to accomplish with Macs for Business, and invite you to let me know what you’d like to accomplish.
Here’s the point: Macs are just as good as — if not better than — any Wintel machine for running a business. And we’re going to prove it.
We’re not going to chit-chat about making baby picture slide shows on iMovie. We’re going to try really, really hard never to mention the iPod. This is a business blog. Macs are darn good at doing those fun things around the house, but they’re also serious machines well-suited to serious business.
So what will we discuss? We’ll offer tips and tricks, software reviews, news from Apple, case studies, and general Mac and business related news and views. We’ll keep tabs on news from Microsoft, Dell, IBM, and so on, and make sure everyone knows whatever they can do, Macs can do better. And, of course, we’ll discuss whatever else you’d like to discuss. If you’re a business person running on a Mac, I just might want to highlight your story here. Email me at email@example.com tell me a bit about your business and how you use your Macs. I’m especially interested in hearing from you if your business has little or nothing to do with graphic design and publishing.
So. Welcome aboard. Next up, a bit more about your host.
