Occasionally, I’m fortunate enough to have a hotel room equipped with a small kitchenette. When this happens, I’ll buy a few groceries for myself for the week.
On other occasions, local grocery stores have things that my stores back home in Minnesota just can’t stock. Fresh live shrimp and crawdads, whole beef brisket, and good cajun boudin or andouille sausage are good examples. Well, this week I have the perfect storm; a hotel room with a freezer AND a culture rich grocery store! Mmmmmmm Good!
