Each week, I try to spend some time at BizSugar now because of all the great articles that people are posting. My personal goal is to spend at least two hours each week in personal and professional development. The articles I find on my regular reading circuit help in that goal, but new material, new ideas, new concepts are always welcome and needed!
Every now and then I’m trying to post one of my own Dun & Bradstreet AllBusiness.com posts, too, so I’ll keep you posted in case I need a bit of voting help.
This post on 100 Useful Web Resources for Small Business and Non-profits is good. As many of you know, I like when people have a good About Us page. I also like when companies have a good tagline, BlogWell’s is: Making Better Use Of The Social Web. Cool.
Lid is the author of this roundup of 100 Useful Web Resources and she shares some well known and a bunch of not-so well known tools or services.
I found the last section the most useful for me, but the others deal with blogging, seo, linkbuilding, content ideation, and tools.
Browsershots is a neat item to know about – lets you see your web page as other browsers do, so you can make your site user-friendly for all.
The Contribute program from Adobe is one I didn’t know about and which allows the non-techie to keep their pages/sites up without being a programmer.
She listed a couple of icon builders, which are useful for most any website or blogger.
Too many to list. Hats off to Lid and her partner for this good list.
