Think about all the bright colors and patterns on your cereal boxes, your chocolate boxes, your shoe boxes. Annie’s Sweatshop in Athens, Georgia did and they came up with an absolutely ingenious, original idea. They take their recycled cardboard, and use them for business cards. The cardboard is cut down to standard business card size, the plain side is stamped with the company logo and information, while the cheerful box pattern stands out in any business card file.
Admittedly, I imagine that they would take a great deal of time to get together. I also imagine that someone like myself, with no artistic ability, would end up with crooked corners and odd shapes. However, for anyone with a good eye and a steady cutting hand, these recycled cards are a great idea to both help the environment, and help you stand out in the white paper crowd.
