I am really loving Twitter because ultimately, saying less is more – especially in selling. Others don’t understand my amour for this tool – so I am always looking for good proof, stories, and anecdotes to help prove my case.
Outspoken Media did a transcript today of a conversation at PubCon between Guy Kawasaki and Chris Brogan – two prolific Twitter users (Tweeps). I love how Lisa Barone of Outspoken catches this comment from Guy as he summarizes why he uses Twitter:
Guy: Twitter is a weapon. It’s a tool. He’s not trying to become social.
It’s a weapon for him to promote alltop. He believes he has to
tweet very high quality links that point people to very interesting news. It has
to be high value so that people will tolerate his alltop promotion (promotion,
spam, same thing) between those tweets. His mental model is PBS combined with
