The Edelman Trust Barometer is an annual report discussing trust throughout the world and focuses on specific demographics. I was not aware of this report until someone from Sales Shebang brought it to my attention. Finally I took a look at it, and is very interesting on several levels, and no cost to download. Some of the notes:
Government needs to join business and NGOs in helping solve major societal problems.
Twenty-five to 34-year-old opinion elites are more trusting of business, less xenophobic, and open to more voices than older elites.
Across the globe, all age groups rely on a mix of specialized experts and peers for information they trust.
There is more on trust in social media vs. traditional media and other topics. Download the study here.
