We dreamed big with the plans for TriActive Kids. Figuring that childhood obesity is recognized as a national crisis, we agreed that our mission would be to become part of the solution. From interactive fitness games to blogs, we envisioned that we could serve as a resource for parents, teachers, kids, teens, coaches, school leaders, and others who wanted to use fitness as a way to help children and teens get and stay in shape.
Not-so-modest ambitions, right? If you’ve created a greatest-thing-since-Donald-Trump’s-towers business plan in your shady past and watched it crash, you’re probably shaking your head. What helped us: we have a successful history in the fitness industry, specifically with regard to outdoor fitness. TriActive America is the “daddy” of TriActive Kids, and the products sold on the Triactive Kids site have been installed and are used throughout the nation and overseas.
