In May when I was at Book Expo one of the interesting things on the back of most of the planned new releases for books was their marketing plan which included ads – outreach to Facebook.
I think the jury is still out on how Facebook really can maintain itself and if it is a long-term viable method of reaching a new populus either with the PR or marketing angle.
