Many people know that you can sit in a cave by yourself these days and have a successful business. You can connect via the virtual world – in so many ways. Now more than ever, businesses have virtual employees, and customers buy through their website. I’ve never met most of my fellow bloggers here at AllBusiness (although I’d like to, and plan on meeting some this year as I travel from city to city)
There are times, though, when we do find ourselves at a live, in-person networking event or business meeting. I go to many, and have been to hundreds over the years. You could say I’m a professional networker, and I certainly do train people on how to make good use of one’s time at in-person events, how to add value for others, and how to grow your business through the “giver’s gain mentality.
So when I get “miffed” and perplexed at events, I talk about it. Today I did some ranting on Twitter and am happy to share the conversation with you. Please let me know what you think – you can comment via Twitter, through this blog, or at Score More Sales
