As I stated in an earlier post, the most important aspect of successful franchising is ‘systems, systems, and systems’.
Nothing will replace the quality of the franchise operating system, and the franchisor’s ability to groom others in its use. If nothing else, positive growth and development for a franchise company is tied to both its capacity for demonstrating the elements of its system that prove it unique among its competition, and management’s skill at continually grooming the system to keep pace (or outpace) the competition. That, of course, translates into keeping pace with the marketplace, the ultimate consumer of the franchised products or services.
