As the number of franchises increases, how does this affect the franchise market as a whole?
The best thing for all franchise concepts and the industry, in general, is to continue growing. And, one of the best things “about” franchising is its tendency to follow the laws of natural selection.
The great franchises continue to grow because of simply supply and demand, but the bad ones go rather quickly. In fact, becoming a franchisor is a risky business move, and only after careful analysis should one proceed in that direction. Many franchise concepts never sell a single franchise.
