July 1st is a GREAT day for sales professionals and business owners. July 1st is the first day of the second half of the year, the first day of Q3 and a “fresh start” for those who have not had a particularly stellar first six months of 2009.
Do yourself a favor – start fresh. Wipe the slate clean. Erase your whiteboard.
Begin anew, with a new challenge – a new set of goals OR pick back up on the goals you set but got side-tracked on.
Why? This is the freshest start you can get this year. There are still six whole months left – and plenty of time for new direction and new strategy. Sooner rather than later, the end will near and missed sales targets will become more apparent – so – focus on this half-way mark.
Super Bowl Games have turned around in the second half. So have World Series.
Get your focus clear and let’s work toward that six month plan for innovation and new revenues by 2009 year end.
