Lots of things are stuffed into hotel rooms, however there are a few things that are often missed:
How many times have we woken up in the middle of the night hungry. The mini-bar is out of bounds on our budget, so best to include a few packets of biscuits in your luggage for midnight munchies. May as well pop in a decaf coffee or low calorie hot choc mix as these are sometimes not available.
Carry a notebook – the paper kind – and a pen. You never know when you may need it to jot something down, record a thought that would be gone the next second or list things to do the next day.
Vitamin C is an all round medication for colds, coughs, flus, general sniffles and wellbeing. The chewable kind make a nice dessert. Remember only take them for short periods of time.
I have a tiny picture album. Smaller then a notebook, it has pictures of the people I love in it so I can open it up when the lonelies hit or I need to talk to someone.
