You’ve heard of girl talk? This is goal talk. Talk about setting goals. Talk about why we don’t like to talk about goals.
This year is a journey year to better understand attainment of big, audacious goals because I’ve set some for myself, and figure it could only help to talk with experts this year as the journey progresses. Even though I have set and succeeded with goals over the course of many years, it can’t hurt to know more. I figure one minor tweak to what I’m doing and it could be ten times more successful – could that be possible?
Today I am interviewing Billy Cox – Billy is a motivational speaker who talks about inspiring action and energizing change. I like Billy’s “larger than live” enthusiasm and I like his stories. He writes recently on five questions to ask yourself about change. I encourage you to take a look – these are questions that make you go, “hmm….” and look inward.
Cox talks about internal committment. He says,
A little commitment backed up with belief, hope, and action can turn a challenging life into a spectacular experience initiated by change.
Look at the five questions – then ask yourself – what are my big goals that I am committed to tackling?
