One of the biggest pieces of a strong foundation for your business is being able to clearly let others know, in short order, what it is that you do, and how it is different from others that do what you do.
My friend and colleague, April Brown, is a charity auctioneer. Her tagline is, “Every time I open my mouth, YOU make money.”
In addition to some great clarity once you understand that she is a fundrtaising auctioneer, you see a fun side of a person – someone who might not only make you money (which she does…… raising millions for charities and non-profits in the U.S.) but also confidence and clarity in what it is that she does. Then, she has a website to back it up, where people can go to learn more.
How do you convey your value? What makes YOUR products or services different – what could you say to engage me to have a further conversation with you? Be clear and concise – show value.
