One of the best ways to get the word out about your business is to have a public relations strategy. That includes issuing news releases (also called press releases) with “newsy” items about what’s happening with your small business.
My colleague, Anita Campbell of Small Business Trends has just begun to accept news releases on her business focused web site. This is a great place to add to your news release distribution list. Anita is all about small business and is “the expert” on small business trends.
You can submit your news release here (but make sure it’s news and not an advertisement). And it would be a good idea to subscribe to Anita’s RSS feed for the releases from all sorts of small business sources.
