The only thing better than Opening Day in April is October baseball when your team makes it to post season. And the only thing better than sitting in the stadium munching on peanuts is sitting in the stadium munching on peanuts and wearing a new team shirt — in which case, you be stylin’.
Aramark, the company that provides both food service and retail merchandise for 15 major league ballparks around the country introduces with new offerings every season. Let’s take a look at some of this year’s newbies:

New Food Item: Panzarotti – A deep-fried golden brown pocket of dough filled with mozzarella cheese and homemade tomato sauce. (Aramark doesn’t say in whose home the tomato sauce is made, but, hey, it sounds yummy.)
New Retail Item: Ryan Howard MVP pennant, bobblehead, pin and ball.
Home of the Boston Red Sox
New Food Item: Sushi.
New Retail Item: Daisuke Matsuzaka t-shirts, balls, pins and magnets.

OK, I realize I stayed east of the Mississippi today, but my team – 2-0 at the moment – is in the Eastern Division. Next week, we’ll move west, I promise.
