Managing your home based business, you generally have tasks or “to do” items each week. Or maybe you track your tasks daily. But does your “to do” list have the same tasks or same types of tasks on it all the time?
If so, your business may not be growing the way it should be. The reason is that if you just do the same thing over and over you might be like a hamster on a wheel – perhaps getting the job done but not getting where you want to go.
Try adding some new things to your “to do” list every so often. Add something that will stretch your comfort zone a bit. It doesn’t have to be anything too drastic but something that can lead you down the road to business growth. For example, if your home based business involves calling leads and you call 20 leads a week, try turning that up to 30 or even 40 leads a week.
It’s easy to get caught up in doing the things that you’ve grown comfortable with. But stretching yourself a bit will make things happen quicker and can help you leap toward those big plans and goals (your master business plan).
