This column talks a lot about business strategies, organizational tips, and sales ideas that can help you move forward. At least, that’s the point of this blog – and though it is geared to small business owners, it is also for those who wear the “sales” hat (often the small biz owner themselves).
Take a moment first, just as the new year is about to begin – to count your blessings, then consider a blood donation.
Yes, that’s right. Didn’t know there was a request out there specifically for salespeople? There is, and it extends to anyone, anywhere.
First I must tell you how much I admire Sam Parker. He and I have not met yet, but I have enjoyed his Just Sell website (and spin-offs) since its inception. I didn’t know about the great story he told on donating blood a couple of years ago. Take a look at Sam’s blood donation story, then take a look at SalesBlood. .
When I saw the two statistics listed – that every pint of blood donated can save three lives.. and getting just person to donate blood twice a year can save six lives per year – Sam sold me.
It funny that I recently saw where my local blood center is – after driving past it for more than a few years. It is within a mile of our home – so I will be heading there later this week.
While you’re learning about Sam Parker, explore Just Sell. It is a most fabulous resource for anyone wearing the “sales” hat.
