Online publishing is booming, to say the least. But equally powerful has
been the growth in video and audio, although some might argue that writing is
dwarfed by these two.
I’ve been meaning for some time to do a brief post about Stan Relihan,
founder of “The Connections Show” based out of Australia. Stan has been quite
helpful to me a number of times with his incredible network (on LinkedIn) and
is a heavy user of many social networking technologies and the founder of a
tool called QuickLink.
As one of LinkedIn’s Top 50 most-connected ‘Power Users’, Stan offers the
opportunity to ‘eavesdrop’ on conversations with guests from around the world –
who share their experiences & insights on how Web 2.0 tools & other
Internet resources can be used to create business advantage.
His most recent show interviewed another Aussie expert, Ross Dawson, around
social networking, mashups, and web 2.0. which was useful, as always.
I’ve listened to his show many times and learned a ton. One
of the reasons I’m profiling him here is not only for his own content creation,
as a marketing strategy and approach, but is because of his diverse use of
online tools. Even when I’m not looking for him, I find Stan on StumbleUpon,
Delicious, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter.
Oh, his podcast show is found here: The Connections Show.
