Regular readers know that I believe employees are an organization’s most important asset. Sometimes, your employees or their family members are diagnosed with cancer. The American Cancer Society’s Web site is an important source of information and for people living in the USA and its territories, it can start you on the journey to clinical trials, resources available in local communities, and so much more.
The problem is, we don’t have sufficient funds to advertise about all of our different programs and services. So we’re reaching out to the blogosphere and asking you to link to this URL. Consider e-mailing it to friends and family members who aren’t part of the blogosphere. Don’t forget your church and your HR department.
We’re doing it because the truth is, the average American knows more about the Central Intelligence Agency, a secret organization, than they do about the American Cancer Society.
And that’s not right. There are too many people who could be helped if they, or their caregivers, would pick up the telephone and call us at 1-800-227-2345. It’s open 24/7. Our services are free.
Spread the word–reduce the suffering.
