I mentioned earlier that I was at a retreat this weekend. While there, I met Tim Burdick of Simple River. Tim’s the sole author and publisher of an 8-month old monthly newsletter that focuses on the concept of ‘simple living.’ If you aren’t familiar with it, simple living as a social movement is just the term that’s broadly used for activities that strive to reduce the clutter and distraction of modern life. Tim mentioned to me that his newsletter encourages folks to take that concept as far as they’re personally comfortable with.
Anyway, at the retreat I read several of Tim’s back issues of the newsletter and really liked what he’s doing, so I subscribed on the spot (via my wireless Tungsten|C…not very simple, but pretty useful sometimes). If you’re interested in doing less and getting more out of it (a very slacker concept), I encourage you to drop by Simple River and sign up for the newsletter. The next issue comes out in a couple of weeks.
If you sign up for the newsletter, you might drop a note in the comments field telling Tim that Brendon sent you…I think he’s interested in knowing how folks found him.
