Just as political blogs have gained credibility in the world of politics — influencing voters and revealing information not always found in the mainstream press — shopping blogs are gaining notice and readers in the world of retail.
The New York Times reported yesterday about several Web sites where shoppers talk about products they like. Among the sites mentioned in The New York Times story are Stylehive, ThisNext and StyleFeeder.
Here´s yet another one to add to the list: SheFinds.
All of these sites are dedicated to the proposition that rabid shoppers are the best people to consult about what’s in the stores. So many of us shopping types love nothing better than being among the first to either know about or — better — own something that our friends don’t.
If your retail store stocks something unique, you might want to check out one of these sites and see about getting some chat about it in the rapidly growing shopping blogisphere.
