The folks at corporate eBay frequently wax enthusiastic about international sales. While there are some risks and challenges involved, it´s not as difficult as it sounds. As with any endeavor, everything depends on who you´re dealing with (and what country they´re from in this case — governments can cause a lot of problems with shipping, customs and general trade interference).
In any event, there´s dough to be made and markets to be expanded across the globe. When you open your doors to more folks, you´ll inevitably get more bids and traffic.
