Using social networking sites to grow your business is a really good idea. It helps you tap into a much broader market than just networking face-to-face in your home town.
As with anything, the online social networking scene mirrors the face-to-face networking scene — activity occurs, but results vary. Many people spend their time making lots of contacts that go nowhere. Others reap the harvest of their efforts through increased sales.
Which one are you?
If you’ve been successful using LinkedIn to close deals or obtain new clients my colleague Scott Allen, co-author of The Virtual Handshake: Opening Doors and Closing Deals Online, wants to talk with you.
In addition to his other activities, Scott is the Executive Editor for Happy About Publishing on a series of books about using LinkedIn for specific business applications.
He’s working on pulling together the next couple of projects: “LinkedIn for Enterprise Sales” and “LinkedIn for Professional Services Marketing” and is looking for interview subjects.
If you have results to share and would be willing to talk with Scott, contact him at The Virtual Handshake.
