As you know, I volunteer as a research editor at SmallBizTrends.com — one of her sister sites, called Selling to Small Businesses just posted a surprising article. Well, at least I was surprised. I thought that more than 49% of the small biz community would have a website. Wow.
- 49% of small businesses – currently have a Web site
- 13% of small businesses – do not have a Web site but plan to within the next 12 months
- 38% of small businesses – do not plan to have a Web site within the next 12 months
Next, I found a post at one of my old haunts — MarketingProfs. I need to start getting back into the MarketingProfs community and content. Ann Handley does a fabulous job of guiding the content strategy and creation over there and this article is just ripe for the times and helpful.
It is a two part article and this is only part one. But some great ideas.
