Next week is the New York Search Engine Strategies conference. The event will be held at the New York Hilton and runs Feb 26-March 2nd. They keynote speaker is Barry Diller so it should be a great event. From what I’ve heard, this SES NYC show will have the largest attendance ever.
I will be covering much of the conference on the well-respected and very popular Search Engine Roundtable blog as well as on Online Marketing Blog. For topics related to small business search engine marketing I will do some posts here at AllBusiness as well.
For an excellent guide to getting the most out of Search Engine Strategies, or any conference for that matter, visit Jim Boykin’s blog where he posts specific tips after having attended MANY SES conferences.
Of course, attending conferences doesn’t have to be all work, so there are a few social events planned as well. Less than usual actually.
At last year’s SES NYC conference, Yahoo celebrated their 10 year anniversary with a huge martini bash that found many conference participants navigating the streets of New York seeing double and triple in some cases, to a small late night Google party. Perhaps this year’s after conference events are lighter so the attendees are more alert during the day?
