I often see advertisements for Home Business opportunities using the term “risk-free Home Business”. Is there actually such a thing as a risk-free home based business? Somehow, I don’t think there is.
Every business, no matter how low the risk is at entry, will carry some degree of risk. It’s really a question of how much risk. Furthermore, risk usually goes along with growing a business. I’ve never heard of anyone successfully growing a business (home-based or otherwise) without taking some risks along the way. Of course, risks should be minimized where possible, but it’s hard to get anywhere in business without taking at least some calculated risks.
The “risk free” in these types of advertisements likely refers to some sort of money back guarantee offered by the sellers of the opportunity. I think they would be more believable if they said “low risk Home Business”.
