There’s a story brewing in regard to one presidential candidate whose staff has hired several bloggers to post about his campaign initiatives. The problem? The candidate’s team aren’t reading the blog posts and some controversial things in some folks’ minds have been posted.
I’m not a great fan of hiring bloggers to do product pitches etc. for your company, but if you do it, it should be transparent and you should also understand you’re still not going to be able to dictate to bloggers what they can and cannot write.
If you’re a company or individual and you hire someone to help blog about your product then one smart thing would be to at least read the posts so you stay aware of what’s being posted!
