Many of us can improve on our speaking and presenting skills – especially when we know, as a seller we are agents of change. Agents of change, influencers – whatever you want to call yourself – need practice and feedback.
Consider the Asset-Based Thinking(C) approach to presenting, and utilize three of your assets:
Asset #1 – Substance
The content of WHAT you say (the words, the facts, the ideas)
Asset #2 – Sizzle
HOW you engage people (this is the tone, resonance, pauses, volume, interacting. It is HOW you craft what you say (stories, metaphors, analogies
Asset #3 – Soul
WHO you are (your passions, desires, aspirations, and values) and WHY your message is important to you.
Make it exciting, and really “show up” and this will cause you to connect with your audience.
