I feel like I’m obsessed with podcasting these days. I guess it’s the "next big thing" since it’s everywhere in the news, especially with Apple’s iTunes adding free podcasts to thier service. Today’s NY Times has an article about how podcasting is being catapulted into the mainstream and what it means as a business model.
I’ve been browsing the iTunes podcast directory and have subscribed to:
SavvySoloCast (hosted by our friend Michael Pollock – my interview with Michael is available for download on iTunes!)
Daily Source Code (Adam Curry, the godfather of podcasting)
Of course, now I have to find the time to listen to all this great content. 🙂
Now, I continue to bring podcasting to your attention because I want you to take it seriously as another marketing tool for the savvy service professional. How can you use a podcast?
- Deliver an e-course as an audio course
- Daily tips
- Interviews with experts (hey, what a good idea — that’s what Patsi and I are doing with Conversations with Experts)
- Record and deliver your teleclasses
These are just a few ideas. Please use the comment link below to add your own ideas. Believe me, podcasting is not difficult especially with services like Audioblog.com and classes like Andy Wibbles’ Podcasting Bootcamp.
