Ah yes, the refrigerator. I didn´t forget, but it took me a week longer to get to it. See, that´s what happens with my organizational skills. I get started with something but then life gets in the way. You know, diapers, midnight feedings, colds, doctor appointments, work. Those types of things. Things that you can´t put off. So, I put off the others, like cleaning out my refrigerator.
But it is done! How did you do? Are your condiments wiped down and married now? Did they take that big leap? Did you toss out your salad dressing from 2005? You know, that bottle of Ranch that is congealed like a big glob of spicy white goo? If so, good for you! It´s amazing what you can find lurking in the corners of your refrigerator.
Dawn in Minnesota suggests wiping down bottles as you use them. Linda in Nevada puts all of her take out sauces in a small container that she dumps every month.
This week: Get into that pantry and clean it out! Any out of date cans have to go. Old bags of chips that have only crumbs left get tossed. Wipe down the shelves and organize everything together: cans in one place, spaghetti and pastas in another. Make it easy to access for those nights when you have worked all day, are tired, and still have dinner to prepare.
Happy Middle of the Week Day, Working Mommas!
