Quick pointer to Rob’s post over on BusinessPundit. He’s floating the idea of a new business experiment—one where a business is conceived and run by 2,500 people, out in the open. The grand vision includes hiring employees, podcasting all meetings, etc. Pretty radical and pretty fun. (and, potentially, pretty nervewracking)
Ground zero is The Business Experiment website. The experiment is limited in scope to 2,500 people and registrations are rolling in fast. Rob’s looking for some folks with specialized skills to step up and help a little bit. I’m helping admin the website and he’s also looking for some programming skills: php, mysql. Also some business skills will be needed soon, so HR, finance, marketing, etc will all need someone to head up those areas.
It’s going to be fun to watch and even more fun to participate. You interested? Belly up.
