Buzz is always a popular topic among business owners and executives. There may be a company out there that does not want any publicity or attention paid to it, but it seems unlikely. New customers come from the smart things we share in the marketplace. Sometimes, from the not-so-smart things we do, too.
David Meerman Scott is one of the pioneers of online PR (public relations) and I’ve mentioned him before, but only in brief here. In this post, I wanted to share some of the nuggets from his book and site. David is one of the first people that I know of to share a big piece of his book online, but more than that, in the early days of writing the book he collaborated with early readers and welcomed suggestions and ideas that were later incorporated into his book. There are a number of folks now crowdsourcing their books or projects, but David is one of the pioneers.
