A lot of network marketing companies these days seem to sell juices of some kind. Various exotic formulas have been appearing ever since MonaVie started the craze with their Acai Berry product. I get lots of questions in my email asking about this juice company and that juice company. So I’ll just collectively address the juice based network marketing companies in this blog post.
Let me start with the main advantage they all have: consumable products. When you join a network marketing home business, you obviously want products that need replenishment. That translates into repeat customers and repeat orders! Most NM companies have this hook and the juice companies are no exception. The idea is that your customers will like the juice so much that they’ll want to order and reorder.
But will that really be the case? One problem with juice companies is that there are so many of them! A crowded market like that makes it difficult for any of them to stand out. How do you stand out in a crowd? Yell louder with a megaphone, set yourself on fire, or something. So you have to really plan a way to make your product stand out in this crowd. Most of them have some sort of feature or angle that is unique to them, but invariably they are far too similar to the other products.
When are you trying to sell products like this, the best way to demonstrate their features is to provide samples. Yet very few of these companies have a sample program for their distributors to use. That leaves the distributors to fork out money on the regular product to provide samples. Nothing sells the product like a free sample! But the sample has to be affordable for the seller.
So before you leap into one of those juice network marketing companies, make sure you can actually build a home business out of it. Unless of course you just like the product — then you can be a customer.
