On Monday, February 12, I posted 12 Topics You could Blog On If You Owned A Jewelry Store. Many bloggers, included me, have posted the reasons why businesses should blog, but it occurred to me that some people might be hesitating because they were missing the last piece of the jigsaw puzzle, namely, what to write about if and when they created a blog.
When I suggested others extend the conversation, Mark and Maria jumped in followed by Meikah. Today, Mike Sansome at Converstations, Monique Attinger, at Insurance Guide 101, and Michael Chantrel at Mortgage Guide 101 joined in. Mike chose to create 9 topics about the financial planning industry while Monique chose the insurance industry. Michael chose the banking industry.
If you’re a business owner or manager and you’re thinking about starting a blog, follow those links and perhaps you’ll get enough ideas to get your own blog up and running. If you don’t see your profession here and the topics already suggested don’t meet your needs, e-mail me and I’ll ask my buds in the blogosphere.
If you’re a blogger and you believe, as we do, that business blogs can generate profits, grab this beme and run with it. It’s not necessary to have 12 topics, I’d say half a dozen or more will be a good start. We’re undergoing a site redesign and this blog doesn’t accept trackbacks or comments. Therefore, if you create a post, e-mail me and I’ll link back to you.
