Last Wednesday, as you know, was St. Patrick’s Day. My son brought home a little assignment done in class. The children were to write about what they would do if they had a pot of gold. My son wrote: “If I had a pot of gold, I would be rich. I would buy a TV, and share the rest with my family and friends.”
I thought this was wonderful! Simple wants (a TV), and desire to share with others. Perhaps we’re doing something right after all, in terms of teaching my son about money.
What would you do with a pot of gold?
