This is the time to remember what you did to be successful in selling before – if in fact you were successful in selling. Many of us were, then we complicated things or added new products or people and projects – ultimately forgetting to do the basics in building our brand, marketing it, and creating revenues for our products and services.
If you are struggling now but were successful before, there is hope – go back to basics and focus on what it is that you did well that generated revenues.
If you are new to building a business – you need to find mentors and successful examples of what is working so that you can reduce your time to market by a lot.
Keep it simple – work on the basics, and as you tweak what you are doing, with input from mentors you can see dollars materialize much quicker than if you are just trying many different things and seeing what sticks.
