Most of us are visual learners. We retain more when we see something than when we hear it. (note the power of a phone call PLUS an e-mail)
If you map out all of your potential connections to grow your business, you’ll not only find missed opportunities, but you will also be able to put a process in place to follow up on these connections on a regular basis.
Example: I used my fundraising auctioneering business and mapped out all of the ways I grow my fairly young business through connecting with other auctioneers, industry referral sources, and corporate contacts.
