Elaine Appleton Grant gives us an in-depth look at Jeffrey Baker’s company, Image 4, which manufactures trade show exhibits and branded environments. Image 4 and has experienced significant growth in the past few years, growth that Baker credits to their environmental practices. Not because the company advertises itself as “eco-friendly”, but because the practices have saved the company a significant amount of money.
Image 4 didn’t start down the green road because of any real environmental concerns, but because, as Baker says, “he was cheap”. He recognized that all of his photo-processing equipment was generating a huge amount of heat; heat that he wanted to re-use. With a little ingenuity, New Hampshire winters are no longer a problem in their their 8500 square foot building.
