It’s an old expression: “People don’t like to be sold, they like to buy.”
So, make it easy for them. Have a brainstorming session on how you can make your workflow easier, your value more clear, your information easy to access, read, and understand.
Instead of knowing your website is below par, and telling people “we’re updating our website” (don’t all small biz owners say that?) – invest in getting your site enhanced.
People don’t understand your company name or brand? Hire a marketing person or company. That is one of the best things I ever did. You can find a marketing firm through the web, through your local business organization – or if you just want some quick freelance work….. post it in Craigslist – you’d be surprised at how many people want to work in this manner and the talent pool is amazing.
