You are in a cramped airline seat with elbows digging into your arms and kids kicking your seat, the attendants are ignoring you and you are about to blow.
Stop! Breathe. Those flying tin cans are not the place to let go of your temper. The wrong word these days and you will be off your seat and out the plane before you can say ‘but I am not a terrorist’. You are not, but airline staff have a lot more power since 9/11. Instead, imagine your rage pouring into a bag. Tie the bag up and slip it into your pocket. When you reach your hotel room, take out the bag and roar. Go on, we know you want to!
Other things to avoid on a business trip include large amounts of alcohol, walking down dark streets by yourself and using your company credit card for visits to the local girly (or boyo) bar.
Being on business in a strange place does have its restrictions.
