Wordtacker has been around for quite a few years, Trellian’s Keyword Discovery came on the scene more recently and Keyword Intelligence from HitWise is also new. The newest public keyword research tool is Google’s AdWords Keyword Tool. This tool was previously only available to Google AdWords account holders. Now Google has added several new features and made it public – and it’s free.
Along the lines of keyword research, there’s an interview with Dan Thies of SEO Research Labs over at Online Marketing Blog. Dan gives a LOT of great info on keyword research and analysis. Dan is by many accounts, the go-to guy for keyword analysis expertise and has also published the Search Engine Marketing Kit – a how to guide for SEO and SEM.
I am curious what others’ opinions are on the various keyword research tools out there. Also, I am curious if you use them differently for PPC than you do organic?
