If you’ve not paid a visit to John Jantsch’s new blog Blogging Business, you really need to do so. He is a master at providing practical information on blogging, especially as it pertains to the technical side of things.
John has experience with several blog platforms and seems especially adept where it comes to Typepad. For example, his latest post on the use of Typepad Typelists is all the information one would need to understand and make use of that feature. Here are a couple of tips John mentions:
To get the custom look using HTML in your TypeList, choose a Link Type of List, paste the HTML code into the Notes section of the item and make sure you check the make notes visible selection. Then, after you create your TypeList, be sure to go back to the content section of your design and check the new TypeList for it to show.
I mentioned visiting John’s site. While you’re at it subscribe to his RSS feed as well. That’s the best way to get all the good stuff from this master blog mechanic!
