It had to happen. Reality TV has just about outlived its usefulness and along comes an internet reality show — The Next Internet Millionaire. Brainchild of Joel Comm, the AdSense Guy, the objective is for ten contestents to compete for cash and an opportunity for a joint venture that will take them over the million dollar threshold.
A mix of Americal Idol and The Apprentice appear to be in play here. Contestents are in their second round after the field was narrowed to 50. Now the competition heats up as that number narrows to 10. Each contestent posted a YouTube video explaining why they should be the next internet millionaire. The public must vote by June 27 for their favorite star.
I’m sure some crazy jockying is going on to get to the top position. My colleague, Michelle Chance, threw her hat into the ring and has made it to round two.
A successful business woman and owner of A Perfect Wallet, Michelle has been making her own money since she earned her first dollar at six years old. Michelle’s motivation for this competition is an opportunity to joint venture with some of the internet’s top marketers. It’s no surprise that she’s already gotten some great newspaper publicity because of her participation. She is one smart cookie! And she needs your help. Hop on over, take a look at her video and give her a big fat 10.
