Research leads to new discoveries. I’m not sure why I haven’t heard about Michael Webb yet, and his book, Sales & Marketing the Six Sigma Way. I’m ordering the book and reading his blog because of my commitment to looking at Sales 2.0 tools which help sales teams. I know, and you know, that tools themselves don’t solve issues – good, consistent methodology coupled with sound strategy and effective leadership does.
Michael Fox states that few companies have eliminated waste in their sales and marketing. I couldn’t agree more.
Start thinking about the redundant and rediculous tasks that you do in your day which could be refined, altered, or eliminated. This topic will be a theme in upcoming posts.
