Back in December I wrote about a great shopping experience at Best Buy in Don’t Waste Your Customers’ Time. It was about how quickly I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, pay for it, and get out of the store. Mainly it was about how a great customer experience brings customers back.
Now, this week ksblog came along with another twist in Making Line-Ups Sexy. K was talking about a bookstore where customers who had to wait in long lines during the holiday shopping rush were entertained with chocolates, magicians, etc. Long lines that are fun are a totally different situation from mine, but the effect can be similar: A great customer experience brings customers back.
What can you initiate this week in your business that will give your clients or customers a — let’s all say it together — “a great customer experience”?
